Job Description- Research Associate

Education: Post Grad. or Grad. in Management/Economics/Statistics/Data Analytics 

Experience: Min. 2 years

Location: Ashram Road, Ahmedabad

Responsibilities:-

1. Research work related to Industry Sector for publication of Paper/Reports
   1. Continuously Monitor economic/ Industrial / sectoral trends and create Repository of relevant Data, Statistics, Economic Indicators and information resources (web based, Data providers etc.)
   2. Collection, coordination, processing and quality control of data 
   3. Preparing graphs, tables and charts to present research information
   4. Updating the database periodically
2.  Keeping tab on Updates and developments:
   1. Keep track of Research Papers, Policy changes, New regulatory announcements.
   2. Keep track of relevant conferences/ programs/events/ development.
   3. Identify and Coordinate with other research bodies and institute
3.  Background Research and analysis for white papers, reports and representations of GCCI related to trade and industry issues
4. To provide content, data and analysis to the various committees and Task Forces as needed
5. Other work assigned by the Head of Department
6. Also have: 

• • • Excellent communication skills in English and Gujarati are a must
    • Good drafting skills in English and Gujarati
    • Excellent command over MS Office with complete knowledge of advanced functions
    • Knowledge of Statistical Analysis Tools/Software will be a plus.
